appointment-pinkQ. Do I need an appointment?

A. Yes! Our shop is by appointment only, this allows us to give each and every appointment our undivided attention. You can book your appointment online by clicking “Contact” and selecting “Request an appointment” or call the boutique to set up your appointment at 716-632-7462.

Q. How long will my appointment last?

A. Your appointment will be scheduled for 90 minutes. We find that this is the perfect amount of time to freely talk with your consultant about styles, try on gowns, look at accessories and say “YES” to your dress. We never want you to feel rushed, so if you need more time we will gladly set up another appointment for you.

Q. What should I bring?

A. It is helpful to have a strapless bra and any desired shapewear that you would like to wear the day of. In addition, you may bring a pair of heels that are of similar height to the ones you would wear on the big day! We do require that you and your guests remove their shoes when coming into our shop, so you may want to bring slippers or socks to change into.

Q. How many people can I bring to my appointment?

A. We can comfortably accommodate 3 guests per bride. Our boutique is quaint with limited seating, so our advice is to keep it small and sweet. Always remember, the decision of choosing a bridal gown is all yours, with a large group sometimes it is hard to formulate your own opinion on a very important decision.

Q. Do people buy on their first visit?

A. YES! This happens all the time, when you come to our shop we will show you all of the gowns you could be looking for. It is okay to say yes on the first visit, and in fact we offer a great deal to brides who DO say yes the first time! If you love it, SAY YES!

Q. How far in advanced should I order my gown?

A. Every designer’s production and shipping times can vary but the typical time frame we recommend is 9-12 months before your wedding. This leaves you a plenty of time for your dress to arrive and get your alterations done. Some designers will offer a rush if you are on a tight time frame also.

Q. What is the price range of your gowns?

A. Our gowns range from $800 to $4,500 dollars with the majority of our gowns being between $1,500 to $1,800 dollars. We also have sale dresses that fall below these prices.

Q. Can you buy gowns off the rack?

A. Yes! Most of our samples can be purchased off the floor; you will take it with you that day!

Q. How much do I need to put down to order my dress?

A. When ordering your gown, we require 60% down before the order is placed and the last 40% will be due when your dress arrives. If you are purchasing a gown off the floor, it does need to be paid in full at the time of the order.

Q. Will I need alterations?

A. Yes! Alterations are an essential finishing touch to any and every gown. Upon ordering, we will take your measurements and order you the size closest to the designer’s standard size chart. However, alterations are needed to make your gown fit you to perfection. We have a list of preferred Seamstresses around the area and we think you will love them. They all have many years of bridal alteration experience, and can’t wait to help you with your gown. We like to refer to them as our own personal magicians!
